HUAQUAN Power Gas Generator Set on Its Way to Russia
Russia has always been one of the most important global markets of HUAQUAN Power. After years of development, the company has established a mature sales network and after-sales service system in Russia. Russia has become the strategic front of the company's blueprint of “going global”.
As of frequently, an order of prefabricated gas generator set by a Russian customer has just been completed and ready for delivery. The unit is going to be the backup power for a Russian oilfield company. Its main job is to provide reliable backup power supply in an emergency to ensure the operation in the oilfield is not interrupted by any power shortage.
Russia is extremely rich in natural gas resources. Both its reserve amount and production amount rank among the top in the world. Natural gas exports are also an important pillar industry in Russia, hence the price of natural gas is very affordable there. Although Russia has a strong power-generation capacity and can even export electricity, its power supply and distribution facilities are unevenly distributed nationwide. Many oil and gas fields suffer from insufficient power supply, which is really frustrating. Especially in winter time, with frequent and intense cold waves, electricity consumption surges, and power outages can occur at any time. Gas generator sets have become an excellent solution for these situations as they can make full use of the abundant natural gas resources available locally. It couldn't be more cost-effective!
This time, the Russian customer purchased three 200-kW container-type gas generator sets from HUAQUAN Power. One of the most straightforward advantages of adding the container is its good sealing performance. It makes the unit rainproof, snowproof, dustproof, and hence much more resilient against harsh working conditions. Some other good features that the container brings about is noise reduction, vibration buffering, etc.
Most importantly, the container allows for custom-made units. It enables the adding of some specific configurations, such as cooling system, surveillance system, fire extinguishing system, etc. to make the units suit each customer’s needs better. Take this order as an example, we have specifically installed the oil heater and the coolant heater considering the harsh coldness of winter in Russia. This will help the unit complete the warm-up procedure and get into the working state more rapidly and smoothly. Customer also wants us to make it possible for the three generator sets to work independently as well as in parallel. Hence, a parallel operation control module is also configured into the control system of the whole unit. The output power would be 600 kilowatts if they work in parallel. Our customer is more than satisfied after inspecting the unit.
